Notifications

Savby sends automatic notifications to your customers and team at every key moment of the recovery lifecycle — so nobody is left in the dark.

Email notifications

Email is available on all plans. Savby sends transactional emails via Resend. Configure email notifications in Settings → Notifications.

Template	Trigger	Recipient	Content
payment_failed_retry_pending	After a retriable decline	Customer	Informs the customer a payment failed and that Savby will retry automatically.
payment_failed_card_update_required	After a notify-only decline	Customer	Asks the customer to update their payment method with a secure link.
payment_recovered	After a successful retry	Customer + team	Confirms the invoice has been paid and the subscription continues.
payment_exhausted	When all retries are exhausted	Customer + team	Notifies that automated recovery failed and action is needed.

Setting	Description
Enable email notifications	Master toggle. Disabling stops all email notifications.
Notify on recovery	Send an email when a payment is successfully recovered.
Notify on exhausted	Send an email when all recovery attempts fail.
Daily summary	Receive a daily digest of recovery activity.
Revenue at risk threshold	Send an alert when outstanding recovery value exceeds this amount (in your account currency).

Slack notifications require the Growth or Scale plan.

Connect a Slack incoming webhook to receive real-time alerts in your team's channel when payments are recovered or exhausted.

1In Slack, go to your workspace Apps and create or find an Incoming Webhooks app.
2Add a new webhook and select the channel where Savby should post.
3Copy the webhook URL (it starts with https://hooks.slack.com/...).
4In Savby, go to Settings → Notifications and paste the URL under Slack.
5Toggle on the events you want to be notified about.

Enable Slack notifications	Master toggle for all Slack alerts.
Webhook URL	The incoming webhook URL from your Slack workspace.
Notify on recovery	Post a message when a payment is successfully recovered.
Notify on exhausted	Post a message when all recovery attempts fail.
